—Ninety year old Misako Miyagi-san lives on her own in her house in the village Ogimi. Located in the northern part of the island Okinawa the community is known for the longevity of its people.
Statistics says that there is no other place in the world where the percentage of centenerians among the population is higher than here. Miyagi-san is known as the woman with two hearts, she lives a humble but happy life, prepares her own dishes and visits regurarly the community center to get a health check, socialize and dance. Just recently she survived the bite of a poisonous snake while she was working on her tiny vegetable field.—Radio in Miyagi-san´s house
